Where did my week go?? I just got back home after spending a much needed week off from work with my family! I spent the entire last week at my parent's house doing absolutely nothing important but relaxing and not thinking about work. My mom made dinner (or bought dinner) every night and I didn't have to think about it. No alarm clocks were used at all over the course of the week for me. I woke when my body said it was time to get up (or when my parent's dogs jumped in bed with me). It was kind of a weird week weather-wise, but I did manage to spend a few days out in the sun on a raft in the pool. I went shopping at a few of my favorite primitive decorating stores and also a few antique shops. I bought tons of canning jars, glass apothecary bottles for the bathroom (that's my next project for the home--watch for pictures!!), yards and yards of fabric, and a few new things to use in the kitchen and the living room!! I still have to practice, but my mom showed me how to use my sewing machine finally, my SIL showed me how to print on fabric using the computer, and I worked on a few of my crafts for the fall. All in all, it was a very productive week for me not doing much of anything!!
Here are the pictures of the fruits and vegetables that I finally finished and sold. I still can't believe that she bought all of them!!!
If I can get the camera away from my boyfriend, I will post pics of all the fun stuff I bought over the last week! For now, I am off to bed since I have to go back to work in the morning!
